The Xiaomi Home Assistant is experiencing an issue with its callback URL, which is hardcoded to `homeassistant.local`. This may cause problems for users who have set up their Home Assistant with a different hostname. To reproduce the issue, simply set up the Home Assistant with a different hostname and try to set up the Xiaomi integration. The callback URL will be incorrect, and the user will need to manually change it. The expected behavior is for the callback URL to be according to the real hostname. This issue was first encountered on December 17, 2025, and has been observed with Home Assistant Core version 2025.12.3, Home Assistant Operation System version 16.3, and Xiaomi Home Integration version v0.4.5. The issue can be resolved by updating the integration to use the correct hostname. In the meantime, users can manually change the callback URL to resolve the issue.
