These devices are not displaying the detected motion state in the form of a human body sensor. Instead, they are showing the motion detection as an event in the Home Assistant (HA). However, some third-party plugins, such as the matter-hub, which is used to connect HA devices to other platforms, are unable to recognize this event type and cannot process it as a sensor. The issue is that the devices are not using the standard Motion Sensor representation to indicate movement. The expected behavior is for the devices to use the standard Motion Sensor representation, as shown in the images uploaded in the reproduction steps. The issue was reproduced on 2025-03-14 15:45:00, and the Home Assistant Core version is 2025.3.0, with the Home Assistant Operation System version being 14.2, and the Xiaomi Home Integration version being 0.2.2.
