Xiaomi Home Assistant Issue: Missing Dehumidification Functionality
in Post with 0 comment

The latest update of the Xiaomi Home Assistant has introduced a bug where the dehumidification functionality is missing from the HVAC modes. This issue occurred after updating to version 0.20. The modes available are now off, fan only, dry, cool, and heat, but the current temperature and dehumidification options are no longer available. This has resulted in the loss of the dehumidification function, which was previously available as a select entity type but is now a climate entity type. To resolve this issue, it is expected that the developers will add an option or a separate switch entity for the dehumidification function. The problem was first noticed on March 3, 2025, at 15:30. The Home Assistant logs are not available, but the system timezone is set to Asia/Shanghai. The Home Assistant Core version is 2025.2.5, and the Home Assistant Operating System version is 14.2. The Xiaomi Home Integration version is v0.2.0. It is hoped that the developers will address this issue soon and provide a fix for the missing dehumidification functionality.
