The current implementation of the NOVO dream curtain in Home Assistant (HA) only controls the rotation of the curtain, rather than its opening and closing. To improve this functionality, it is proposed that the existing control be modified to manage the curtain's opening and closing, with an additional feature to control its rotation. This enhancement will provide users with more precise control over their NOVO dream curtain, aligning with the expectations of a smart home system. The issue was identified on 2025-01-18 at 18:00:00, with the Home Assistant Core version being 2025.1.2, and the Xiaomi Home Integration version being v0.1.5b2. The device in question is the novo.curtain.n21, manufactured by NOVO, with firmware version 2.2.2. By addressing this issue, users can enjoy a more integrated and user-friendly experience with their Xiaomi Home Assistant.
